Overwhelming interest in being able to experience a selection of Cambridge’s stunning properties, has resulted in an additional date being added to the NZ House & Garden Tour.
A second day was required to avoid disappointing people who wanted to step inside the range of homes that include a stabled home with a sweeping verandah, an artist’s brightly dressed home with a turn-of-the-century flavour and a sleek modern new-build with bold interiors.
The NZ House & Garden Tour’s 2021 season starts with Cambridge, and will now be held on February 12 & 13.
The other dates and locations of NZ House & Gardens Tours 2021 are:
● Dunedin – February 19 & 20
● Christchurch – March 5 & 6
● Kāpiti Coast – March 12
● Auckland – March 26
“Generous owners give us unprecedented access – allowing us to be immersed in all the features that make their house a home. It is very much like stepping inside the pages of the magazine,” says NZ House & Garden editor Naomi Larkin.
“We know that many of the attendees are from outside the region who want to make a weekend of it. It’s a wonderful day out with friends or family”
Attendees drive themselves to each property, providing the freedom to experience every house at their own pace.
The NZ House & Garden Tours are New Zealand’s largest and most-established charity house tours. Run by Stuff Events they benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, with a minimum pledge of $100,000 in donations and $120,000 in media advertising.
The series would not be a success without the support of hundreds of Breast Cancer Foundation volunteers who help out at the tours – often people whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
The house tours are open from 10am to 4pm on these dates only.
