An industrial-style apartment, a rebuilt bach and a grand residence are among the high-calibre properties featuring in next year’s popular NZ House & Garden Tours.

Early-bird tickets for the sell-out tours are available from September 17, with this season’s tours showcasing up to 10 homes in each of the five regions. The tours run throughout February and March next year.

Step inside the pages of NZ House & Garden and be inspired by a diverse range of properties in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Kāpiti Coast and Cambridge. Each tour is curated to provide an exciting array of architecture, interiors and garden styles, to ensure a dynamic day out.

“With the Tours we’re bringing the pages of the magazine to life,” says NZ House & Garden editor Naomi Larkin. “Generous owners give us unprecedented access – allowing us to be immersed in all the features that make their house a home.”

Attendees drive themselves to each property, providing the freedom to experience every house at their own pace.

The NZ House & Garden Tours are New Zealand’s largest and most-established charity house tours. Run by Stuff Events they benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, with a minimum pledge of $100,000 in donations and $120,000 in media advertising.

The NZ House & Garden Tours have partnered with the Breast Cancer Foundation since 2015, helping raise more than $300,000. The series would not be a success without the support of hundreds of foundation volunteers who help out at the tours – often people whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

“This is the 13th year for the tours, and they are always highly anticipated,” says Stuff Events director, David Blackwell. “More than half of tour attendees travel from outside that region, making them the ideal way to begin a weekend away.”

A limited number of $80 early bird tickets are on sale from today on a first-in, first-served basis until the allocation is exhausted. General tickets cost $90.
