Round the Bays announces new concept for iconic fun run

Southern Cross Round the Bays has introduced annual themes to enhance this beloved fun run. The 2024 edition, presented by Stuff, will feature the theme 'wai' — te reo Māori for water — acknowledging the unique course through Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland's harbour.

The event will support Live Ocean Foundation, established by sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke. The foundation will receive $25,000 cash and a $50,000 media package from Stuff.

Since 1972, Round the Bays has attracted tens of thousands from Auckland and beyond. Over twenty years, Round the Bays has raised over $3.32 million.
